WHO I AM
Hello, I'm Roswell. I'm an agency-represented and freelance alternative model with over 15 years of experience, based just outside London, in the beautiful UK.
I specialise in fine-art nude and alternative aesthetics, including post-apocalyptic, fantasy, and steampunk. Throughout my long career, I have developed a signature style and physique that is recognisable but versatile,
My appearance lends itself to classical art, yet years of cage fighting and weightlifting have given me a distinctive physique. I'm muscular but naturally very curvy, so I can project both strength and softness as desired. This has led to my being described as "the pre-Raphaelite powerlifter."
WORKING WITH ME
I'm very easy to inspire! I spend every day looking for the "story" in my surroundings, and I love colours, textures, and nature. This makes me the perfect creative partner as I start having ideas for poses and/or outfits within minutes of arriving at photoshoots.
I'm equally at home in the wilderness and in studio settings. I regularly work with both new and experienced photographers, and will work hard to get you great results, contributing ideas and working as a team (if you welcome this!)
While I'm very happy working with stylists, I can do my own make-up and hair styling to a high standard. I have plenty of gorgeous outfits and a talent for creating new ones, often on the spot!
Just as you adjust your camera settings, I like to look in the back of the camera every so often to see if I can improve on a pose.
My portfolio shows the kinds of images I create, but if you have an idea that is not represented there, do not hesitate to ask.
I'm friendly and enthusiastic with many interests, and I enjoy hearing about yours, so please tell me all about your rock collection/obsession with that music genre/ book about mediaeval bread!
SPECIAL SKILLS
- I am very experienced with working in cold temperatures and can confidently pose in snow, in glacial lakes and on icebergs
- I am currently learning to spin a staff, which is perfect for stunt work and movement shots.
- I can sew. If given enough notice, I can source, create, or customise an outfit, giving you a unique creation to photograph.
